Abdal Köprüsü

The Abdal Köprüsü — also known as Acemler Köprüsü — is an Ottoman stone arch bridge built in 1677 in Bursa, originally carrying the main road from the city to the port of Mudanya across the Nilüfer river. Restored in 1971, the bridge is now closed to vehicle traffic and serves as a pedestrian crossing between the Acemler and Hürriyet districts. As one of the few surviving 17th-century Ottoman bridges in Bursa, it stands as a quiet remnant of the region's historic trade and travel infrastructure.
