Apollonia ad Rhyndacum is an ancient settlement in the historical region of Mysia in northwestern Asia Minor, located in what is now Bursa Province, Turkey. Named — like several other ancient towns — in honor of the god Apollo, it sat along the Rhyndacus river, but little of its history has survived in ancient sources. The site remains archaeologically underexplored and poorly documented; visitors should verify local access conditions before making the trip.
