Abrigo de Bacinete I

Abrigo de Bacinete I is a prehistoric rock shelter in the municipality of Los Barrios in the Spanish province of Cádiz, Andalusia. Such abris — shallow cliff overhangs used as dwellings or ritual sites — are among the earliest surviving traces of human presence in southern Spain. The site has been protected as a Bien de Interés Cultural since 1985, indicating archaeologically significant finds, likely including prehistoric rock art. It is not developed for general tourism and primarily attracts researchers and visitors with a specific interest in Iberian prehistory.
