Aeronauticum

The Aeronauticum in Nordholz near Cuxhaven is Germany's only museum dedicated to the dual history of naval airships and German naval aviation. It occupies one of the last surviving Zeppelin hangar structures from World War I, built on the former marine air station at Nordholz — one of the Imperial German Navy's most important airship bases. Exhibits include historical naval aircraft, reconnaissance drones, and artefacts from the Zeppelin era, which remained active along Germany's North Sea coast into the 1930s. The museum is open daily from mid-March through October (10:30–17:30), with reduced winter hours, and is fully wheelchair accessible.
