Cuxhaven railway station

Cuxhaven railway station is a terminus station situated at the southeastern edge of the Lower Saxon port town of Cuxhaven, close to the harbour. It marks the northern end of the Niederelbebahn line from Hamburg and the line arriving from Bremerhaven. A short three-kilometre branch connects the station to the former Amerika-Bahnhof, once used to process emigrants and transatlantic passengers boarding ocean liners. Today the station serves primarily as a transit point linking rail services to Cuxhaven's harbour and North Sea beach areas.
