Aller Park

Aller Park is a 130-hectare public leisure complex in Wolfsburg built around the Allersee, an artificial lake created in the late 1960s during gravel extraction. Over the following decades the site evolved into one of Lower Saxony's most versatile urban parks, combining major sporting venues — including the Volkswagen Arena and AOK Stadion — with freely accessible outdoor facilities such as beach volleyball courts, a skate park, and outdoor gym equipment. The BadeLand indoor water park and the Eis Arena round out the all-weather offering for families. The lake's shoreline path makes for a pleasant walk or cycle ride, and the surrounding greenery serves as a buffer between several Wolfsburg districts and the city centre.
