Aloisius-Kapelle
The Aloysius Chapel in Daleiden, in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm district of Rhineland-Palatinate, is a small historicist hall chapel with a ridge turret, built around 1900 and listed as a protected cultural monument. It is dedicated to Saint Aloysius of Gonzaga, a Jesuit patron of youth who died in 1591 aged 23, whose veneration spread widely through rural Eifel parishes during the 19th century. The chapel is a modest but representative example of turn-of-the-century village sacred architecture in the western Eifel.
