Alt-Tegel

Alt-Tegel is the northern terminus of U-Bahn line U6 in Berlin's Reinickendorf district, situated beneath the Alt-Tegel/Berliner Strasse intersection. Opened on 31 May 1958 under the name 'Tegel', it is one of the early postwar stations of the West Berlin subway network and is now a listed monument. The station is fully wheelchair accessible and serves as a key interchange for bus routes into the northern outskirts of Berlin.
