Borsigwerke

Borsigwerke is a station on Berlin U-Bahn line U6 in the Tegel district of Reinickendorf, opened on 31 May 1958 as part of the Kurt-Schumacher-Platz to Tegel extension. It takes its name from the historic Borsig industrial works that shaped Tegel from the 19th century onward. The platform sits 6.8 metres below street level, measures 110 metres in length, and is listed as a protected monument — a sober example of West Berlin's postwar modernist U-Bahn architecture.
