Opernturm

The Opernturm is a 170-metre office tower in Frankfurt's Westend district, standing directly beside the Alte Oper concert hall. Completed in 2009 by architect Christoph Mäckler, it stands out in the city's banking quarter for its curved glass facade with horizontal sun-shading louvers rather than the flat mirror-glass typical of neighboring towers. The building is not publicly accessible and functions purely as commercial office space, primarily housing financial-sector tenants.
