Alviksbron

Alviksbron is a prestressed-concrete tram bridge in western Stockholm, opened in 2000 to carry the Tvärbana light rail line. It spans an arm of Lake Mälaren, connecting the island of Stora Essingen with the Bromma district. A piece of straightforward transit infrastructure, it holds no particular cultural or historical significance beyond its role as a daily crossing for commuters on the Tvärbana.
