Arno Atoll

Arno Atoll sits in the Ratak Chain of the Marshall Islands, roughly 18 km east of the capital atoll Majuro and visible from it on clear days. One of the more remote atolls in the central Pacific, it consists of a ring of narrow coral islets enclosing a shallow lagoon, with largely intact reef systems and calm turquoise water. Visitors come for snorkeling and diving on uncrowded reefs and kayaking along the lagoon shore — a level of seclusion that has become rare in Pacific island tourism.
