Arsenal

Arsenal is a Piccadilly line station in Travelcard Zone 2, in the London Borough of Islington. It was renamed in 1932 — previously called Gillespie Road — specifically to direct supporters to Arsenal FC's then-home ground at Highbury, making it one of the few London Underground stations named after a football club. The club has since moved to the Emirates Stadium a short walk away in Holloway. Around 3.1 million passengers used the station in 2013, with match days accounting for a significant share. The station has no step-free access.
