Emirates Stadium
Also known as: Ashburton Grove, Arsenal Stadium, The Emirates · +1
The Emirates Stadium in Ashburton Grove in the Holloway district has been the home ground of Arsenal FC since 2006 and, with around 60,000 seats, is the fourth-largest football stadium in England. It replaced the legendary Highbury, where Arsenal had played since 1913 - the historic Art Deco stand survived as a residential complex just a few streets away. The build on a former industrial site cost some 390 million pounds and is seen as an architectural turning point for English football grounds, away from cramped inner-city boxes toward open, multifunctional bowls. From the 2025/26 season the Arsenal Women also play their Premier League home matches here. On non-match days stadium and museum tours give access to the dressing rooms, the player tunnel and the trophy room.
