Alexander Garden

Alexandrovsky Sad is one of Moscow Metro's original stations, opened on 15 May 1935 as part of the system's inaugural line. Serving as a terminus of the light-blue Filyovskaya Line, it sits directly adjacent to the Alexander Garden and the Kremlin walls. Like many stations of its era, the design reflects Stalinist prestige architecture — marble surfaces, high ceilings, and grand proportions intended to project Soviet ambition underground. The station operates daily from 05:30 to 01:00 and offers Wi-Fi, though it is not wheelchair accessible.
