The observation tower in Stuttgart's Burgholzhof district stands amid one of the city's larger postwar housing estates, built from the 1960s onward on the heights north of the city center. From the platform, visitors get a wide-angle view across Stuttgart's characteristic basin landscape and the surrounding Neckar hills — a quieter alternative to the well-known TV tower route.
