Ammer

The Ammer is a small left-bank tributary of the upper Neckar in Baden-Württemberg, stretching roughly 22 kilometres through agricultural valleys southwest of Stuttgart. Its banks offer quiet walking and cycling paths suited for local day trips, with characteristic Swabian river scenery. There is no significant tourist infrastructure along the stream — its appeal is primarily the unhurried, low-key nature of a rural waterway.
