Main national road forming the south-western bypass of Riga, part of three European routes.

The A5 is a Latvian main road forming the south-western section of the Riga ring road. It links the Salaspils interchange with Babite and is part of European routes E22, E67 and E77. The roughly 41 km route diverts through-traffic around Riga and serves as a key transit corridor across the Baltic region.
