Detmold station

Detmold station opened in 1880 and serves as the main rail hub for the town of Detmold in eastern Westphalia. Its Wilhelmine-era station building carries listed monument status and underwent a thorough restoration in 2006–2007. With only two platform tracks, it functions primarily as a commuter stop for connections toward Bielefeld and the surrounding region.
