Grünberg station

Grünberg station is a small regional stop on the Vogelsbergbahn line between Gießen and Fulda in central Hesse. Historically it served as a local junction: the Lumdatalbahn branched off here toward Lollar, and the Wettertalbahn — running via Lich and Münzenberg to Butzbach — maintained a separate station with a connecting track to the main line. Both branch lines have since closed. Today only regional services on the Gießen–Fulda corridor stop here.
