Jerusalem – Malha Railway Station

Jerusalem–Malha station, located in the Malha district in southwestern Jerusalem, served as the city's main intercity rail terminus from 2005 until 2020, forming the endpoint of the Jaffa–Jerusalem line — one of the oldest railways in the Middle East, originally built by a French company in the late 19th century. After decades of neglect the line was restored and reopened in 2005, only to be sidelined again when Jerusalem's new underground rail network took over intercity services. Since March 2020 the station has been temporarily closed and largely empty, its future use yet to be determined.
