Kamikawa Station

Kamikawa Station is a small regional rail stop in the town of Kamikawa, Kamikawa Subprefecture, on the island of Hokkaido. Opened in 1923 during Japan's late Taisho era, it has served the sparsely populated mountain region surrounding Daisetsuzan National Park ever since. The station functions primarily as a practical access point for the surrounding nature area rather than a destination in its own right.
