Kokubunji Station
Kokubunji Station is located in Kokubunji City, Tokyo Prefecture, and is jointly operated by JR East and the private Seibu Tetsudō railway. It opened in 1889 during Japan's rapid Meiji-era rail expansion. Today it functions primarily as a transfer hub for commuters traveling between the western Tokyo suburbs and the city center.
