Railway HistoryListed Building
Nordenham station's passenger building dates from the second half of the 19th century and sits along the Hude–Nordenham-Blexen railway line in the Wesermarsch district of Lower Saxony. The brick structure is a listed cultural monument (Kulturdenkmal) and reflects the functional Gründerzeit station architecture typical of northwest Germany. As of 2023, the building is only partially used for rail purposes, with new use concepts still being explored.
