Campanhã railway station

Porto-Campanhã station, opened in 1875, is Porto's main long-distance rail terminus and the southern end of the Linha do Norte from Lisbon. It also sits on the Linha do Minho, which runs north through the border town of Valença and on to Vigo in Spain. Less celebrated than the city-centre São Bento station with its famous azulejo murals, Campanhã is a sober late-19th-century structure whose primary role is practical: connecting intercity trains with Porto's Metro network. The station is fully wheelchair accessible.
