Passow (Uckermark) railway station

Passow (Uckermark) railway station opened in 1843 as part of the Stettin Railway, making it one of the oldest surviving station buildings in Brandenburg. The classicist passenger building is a protected monument. In its early years the station was discussed as a potential junction for lines toward Prenzlau, Greifswald, and Stralsund, but those plans never materialized. When the Angermünde–Stralsund Railway opened in 1863, Passow quickly lost its regional relevance and became a purely local stop. Today the building stands as a quiet remnant of the Uckermark's early railway history, well off the main rail corridors.
