Also known as: Zhengzhoudong Railway Station
Zhengzhou East station opened on 28 September 2012 and was in 2015 the fourth-largest railway station in China by floor area, built at a cost of 6.3 billion yuan. It sits at the crossing of two major axes of China's high-speed rail network: the north-south Beijing–Guangzhou railway and the east-west Xuzhou–Lanzhou railway. This position makes Zhengzhou East the central rail crossroads of inland China.
