Tianjin railway station

Also known as: 天津站

Tianjin station is the central railway hub of the mega-city of Tianjin and a node in China's high-speed rail network. Originally opened in 1888 and rebuilt in 1988 for its centenary — the Chinese calligraphy above the entrance was written by Deng Xiaoping. Since 2008 it has been the terminus of the Beijing–Tianjin high-speed railway (up to 350 km/h) and is also integrated into the Beijing–Shanghai and Beijing–Harbin routes.
