Ludwigsburg station

Ludwigsburg station is the main rail hub for the baroque residence city and a junction where the Franconia Railway meets the Backnang line. Until 2005 the Markgröningen branch also started here; the Kornwestheim marshalling yard, Stuttgart's primary freight distribution centre, connects directly to the station. S-Bahn and regional trains run every fifteen minutes — a category 3 station with full accessibility.
