Bank of Georgia Headquarters

Iconic Soviet Brutalist building from 1975, now the Bank of Georgia headquarters in Tbilisi.

This building, originally the Ministry of Highways, is one of the most iconic examples of Soviet architecture in Tbilisi. Designed in 1975 by architects George Chakhava and Zurab Jalaghania, it is celebrated for its bold sculptural form: stacked cantilevered office units that appear to float above the street. Listed as a cultural monument of Georgia, the building draws architecture enthusiasts worldwide and is widely regarded as a masterpiece of Soviet Brutalism.
