Bear's Den

Bear's Den is a 6-acre nature reserve near New Salem in rural Franklin County, Massachusetts, managed by The Trustees of Reservations and free to visit. A short woodland trail leads to a small waterfall and stream, set within the forested hill country typical of central New England. It sees little foot traffic on weekdays, making it a genuinely quiet escape for local nature lovers.
