Saint Vitus Church
HistoricChurch, Baroque
The highest point in inner Stuttgart - but its 511 metres are not natural: 1.5 million cubic metres of rubble from the war-flattened city were piled up here between 1953 and 1957. A memorial cross at the top, an open view over the Stuttgart basin to the Black Forest. Locals call it "Monte Scherbelino" (Mount Shard-erino).
