Bitsa Park

Moscow second-largest urban forest - 2,200 hectares in the southwestern belt, stretching along the rivers Bitsa and Chertanovka. In the 1990s the park gained national notoriety as the hunting ground of the "Bitsa Maniac" - Russia worst serial killer, who murdered 49 people here and was convicted in 2007. Today a popular recreation area.
