Stromovka

Also known as: Königlicher Wildpark

Stromovka (the Royal Game Reserve) served as the hunting grounds of Prague's kings from the 13th century onwards. In 1804 its 95 hectares of floodplain forest were opened to the public. Today the park with its ponds, meadows, and ancient trees is a protected nature and cultural monument.
