Bocholt

Bocholt station is the northern terminus of the Wesel–Bocholt railway line, situated roughly 500 metres southeast of Bocholt's town centre near the Dutch border. Once a notable regional rail junction in the western Münsterland, the station progressively lost its wider network connections over the course of the 20th century as branch lines were closed. The station building is today a listed monument under North Rhine-Westphalian heritage protection. For travellers it functions as a quiet end-of-line stop with step-free access, operated by DB InfraGO.
