Bolków Castle

Bolków Castle is a ruined Gothic fortress in Lower Silesia, set on a ridgeline above the Wütende Neisse river at the foothills of the Giant Mountains. The stronghold was built by the Piast dukes of Silesia in the 14th century and served as a regional seat of power before falling into partial ruin over subsequent centuries. Listed as an immovable monument of Poland, the site is open to visitors who can explore the surviving walls and keep while taking in broad panoramic views over the surrounding uplands. The castle is also a starting point for hiking routes that thread through the Riesengebirge foothills.
