Castle Bolczów

Castle Bolczów is a medieval ruin perched on the left bank of the Bober river above Janowice Wielkie, on the northern slopes of the Landeshuter Kamm ridge in Lower Silesia — about 15 kilometres southeast of Jelenia Góra. Little is reliably documented about its origins or history; the site is today protected as an immovable monument under Polish heritage law. Tucked into dense woodland, the ruin rewards walkers exploring the Bober valley with views over the river below. It remains largely undeveloped and sees few visitors, making it an quietly atmospheric remnant of Silesia's medieval past.
