Russia largest botanical garden - 361 hectares in northeast Moscow, in the shadow of the Ostankino TV tower. Founded in 1945 to mark the victory over Nazi Germany, with the mission of academically classifying all Soviet flora. Today a display garden and recreation area, in summer the greenest part of Moscow.
