Braddell

Braddell is an underground MRT station on Singapore's North–South Line, opened in 1987 beneath the traffic junction of Lorong 1 and Lorong 2 Toa Payoh. It primarily serves the residential estates in the northern part of Toa Payoh New Town. Due to engineering constraints at the time of construction, Braddell uses side platforms rather than the island platforms standard on the North–South Line — making it one of only two stations on the line with this configuration, the other being Canberra. The station is wheelchair accessible and operated by SMRT.
