Brand Tropical Islands

Brand Tropical Islands station sits on the Berlin–Görlitz railway line in the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg, taking its name from the nearby village of Brand rather than the tropical leisure resort — though the resort has since lent the station its marketing-friendly suffix. The station building, a residential annex, outbuildings, and a distinctive water tower are all listed monuments under Brandenburg heritage law, as are the cobbled surfaces of the station forecourt. For most visitors the stop serves purely as the rail gateway to the Tropical Islands resort a few kilometres away.
