Burg (b Magdeburg) railway station

Burg (b Magdeburg) railway station opened in 1846 on the Berlin–Magdeburg line, making it one of the earliest rail stops in central Germany. Between 1896 and 1965 the Jerichow I district also operated a narrow-gauge transhipment station in the town. The station building is a listed cultural monument (Kulturdenkmal) in Saxony-Anhalt. Today it functions as a working stop with no notable tourist infrastructure beyond its protected building status.
