Bukit Jalil National Stadium

Bukit Jalil National Stadium sits within the sprawling 200-acre Kompleks Sukan Negara on the southern outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, with a capacity of around 87,000 making it one of the largest stadiums in Asia. Built in 1995 and inaugurated for the 1998 Commonwealth Games, it succeeded the iconic Merdeka Stadium as Malaysia's principal national venue. The stadium hosts Malaysian national football team fixtures, athletics meetings, and large-scale concerts. The surrounding sports complex has transformed Bukit Jalil from a quiet suburb into a dedicated hub for national sport and mass events.
