Auditorium of Universidad Complutense

The Caseron de San Bernardo, also known as the Paraninfo de la Universidad Complutense, is a heritage-listed building on Calle de San Bernardo in the unofficial Malasana quarter. For decades it served as the main auditorium of the Complutense University before the institution relocated to the Ciudad Universitaria campus in the 1970s. The building grew from a former Jesuit novitiate and still hosts academic and ceremonial events of the university. The interior is open to the public only on special occasions or guided tours; the facade can be enjoyed while wandering through Malasana.
