Baroque palace from 1770 in central Bratislava, now home to the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University.
The Aspremont Summer Palace is an elegant Baroque building from 1770 in Bratislava's Old Town. Count Johann Nepomuk Gobert d'Aspremont-Lynden commissioned it together with the adjacent Medical Garden. The two-storey building on Spitalska Street features a restrained yet refined Baroque facade. Today it houses the dean's offices of the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University Bratislava. Protected as a national cultural monument, it stands as a fine example of 18th-century aristocratic summer residence culture in what was then the Hungarian coronation city of Pressburg.
