Confluence Stadium is a 25,000-capacity multi-purpose stadium in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State in central Nigeria, named after the nearby confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers — one of the country's most distinctive geographic landmarks. It serves as the home ground for Kogi United in the Nigeria National League and the Confluence Queens in the Nigeria Women Premier League, making it one of the few Nigerian venues with a prominent women's football presence. In 2016 it temporarily hosted Niger Tornadoes' home fixtures during the Nigeria Professional Football League season. Attending a match offers a ground-level view of Nigerian grassroots football culture.
