Elzwasserfall

The Elzwasserfall is a natural waterfall on the Elz stream near Münstermaifeld, set within dense mixed forest in the hilly country between the Moselle and the Eifel. It is one of the few natural waterfalls in this part of the Rhineland-Palatinate and is reached via forest hiking trails. Highly rated by local visitors, it is most impressive after rain when the stream runs full — making it a rewarding short detour for walkers exploring the Moselle region.
