Estádio Major Antônio Couto Pereira

Curitiba

Paraná's largest stadium and Coritiba FC's home since 1932.

The Estádio Major Antônio Couto Pereira — commonly known as Couto Pereira — is the home ground of Coritiba FC, one of the most storied football clubs in the southern Brazilian state of Paraná. Opened in 1932 as the Estádio Belfort Duarte, it was renamed in 1977 in honor of a longtime club benefactor. With a capacity of 40,130 spectators, it remains the largest stadium in Paraná. The atmosphere during local derbies against Athletico Paranaense is legendary among Brazilian football fans. Beyond football, the ground hosts major concerts and community events throughout the year.
