Incheon International Airport is consistently ranked among the world's best airports since opening in 2001. Located on the artificially expanded island of Yeongjongdo in the Yellow Sea, 52 kilometres west of Seoul, it handled over 71 million passengers in 2024 — ranking 13th globally and sixth for air cargo. The airport serves as the main hub for Korean Air and Asiana Airlines.
