Garbšių piliakalnis

Garbšių piliakalnis is a prehistoric hillfort mound near Dūkštas in northeastern Lithuania. Such earthwork mounds served Baltic tribes throughout the early and high medieval period as defensive strongholds and local power centers, and many are also considered sacred sites of pre-Christian Baltic religion. Little detailed documentation exists specifically for this mound; it is catalogued on piliakalniai.lt, the national registry of Lithuanian hillforts, as an archaeological site. Visitors typically reach it on foot through forested terrain.
