Railway station at Vilnius International Airport, open since 2008, offering a direct connection to the city centre for around €0.80.
The Oro uostas halt — Lithuanian for "airport" — is the railway station at Vilnius International Airport, in operation since October 2008. It provides a direct rail link between the airport and Vilnius Central Station using railbuses. At around €0.80, it is one of the cheapest ways to travel between the airport and the city centre. The station is one of only two airports in the Baltic states with a direct rail connection to the city; the other is Tallinn Airport. However, with only seven trains per day and gaps of up to nearly six hours between some services, scheduling requires advance planning.
